Newcastle United target admits he is flattered by reported interest

Newcastle United target Stephane Diarra has admitted that he’s flattered by links to the club. Le Mans forward is one of French football’s most talented stars and he has also been linked with Leicester and Celtic, according to L’Equipe. “It’s good to know that several clubs follow you, but leaving Le Mans this winter? I don’t know,” Diarra told Goal. “I need to stay focused on my season. I’ll watch what is going on and we will see. I have to progress in a lot of areas but especially on efficiency – that’s the biggest point for me. I have to do more and work on my final ball. Things are good today but not good enough.” Diarra has scored three times in 16 games for Ligue 2otfit this season and has attempted the third most dribbles of any players in the division.
