Hakim Ziyech's transfer to Al-Nassr has collapsed because of a knee issue revealed during his medicals, according to Daily Mail.
This is the second deal of the Morroccan that gets hijacked and makes him extend his stay at Stamford Bridge. In January, 2023, the 30-year-old's transfer collapsed because of administration errors by Chelsea. It was revealed that the London Blues failed to file the necessary papers on time for the contract to happen before the end of the transfer window.
Now, Ziyech's deal to Saudi Arabia has been canceled completely. Al-Nassr's pursuit was rumored to be almost complete just a few days ago. With personal terms agreed, the winger's contract with the Middle Eastern side would run through 2026.
Despite an impressive performance for his country during 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Ziyech has faced challenges in terms of playing time during Chelsea's recent campaign.
