Despite his age, the 38-year-old has been a regular starter ever since his arrival at Stamford Bridge in 2020. Silva has been a valuable addition to the Chelsea squad, bringing a wealth of experience and skill to the team's defense. It is likely that the Brazil international’s exit from Chelsea will coincide with his retirement, although nothing has been disclosed yet.
Mason Mount
The English international joined the Blues in 2019 with a 5-year as an attacking midfielder. Mount joined Chelsea's youth academy at the age of six, and he progressed through the ranks before making his first-team debut in 2019. The club’s standout performer is yet to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge and is unlikely to settle for the wage that Chelsea can offer him currently.
Mateo Kovacic
Initially, the Croat international joined Chelsea on-loan in 2018. After the year-long contract, Kovacic joined the Blues with a 5-year deal and has been a key player since. One of his biggest strengths is his ability to drive the ball forward from midfield. He is an excellent dribbler, with quick feet and a low center of gravity that allows him to twist and turn past opposing players with ease.
Christian Pulisic
The 24-year-old American winger has been an invaluable addition to the squad in 2019. Pulisic’s performances for Chelsea have been consistently impressive, earning him plaudits from fans and pundits alike. He played a key role in the team's run to the Champions League final in the 2020-21 season, scoring important goals in the knockout stages of the competition.
César Azpilicueta
The versatile Spanish defender has been at Chelsea for over a decade and is currently their captain. With 500 games played for Chelsea since 2012, Azpilicueta is presently the sixth player with the most appearances for the club in history. The Chelsea legend led the Blues to victories in the Europa League, Champions League, and FIFA Club World Cup in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Ruben Loftus-Cheek joined Chelsea's youth academy at the age of eight and progressed through the ranks to make his first-team debut in 2014. The 27-year-old Englishman is a highly talented midfielder who has shown great potential throughout his career at Chelsea. Next year, Loftus-Cheek will have been at Stamford Bridge for 20 years.
Pierre-Emerick
The former Gabonese international has had a bumpy career in Chelsea. He signed a 2-year deal with Chelsea in 2022 from Barcelona. Reportedly, in the period between April and May, it may be announced that up to five players, including Aubameyang, will be leaving Chelsea. The player has spent most of the season on the bench and desires to go back to Barcelona for the following season.
