Chelsea are under further transfer scrutiny over their signing of Danish defender Andreas Christensen.
Football Leaks claims, Chelsea entered into a secret agreement to land Christiensen, when he was just 15.
Premier League rules state: “No club may lure or attempt to entice a player to sign a contract by offering him or any person directly or indirectly a benefit or payment.”
A Premier League spokesman said: “Should we receive any substantive material that indicates that our rules may have been violated, we will, of course, investigate it – and we have a history of doing that.”
Chelsea said: “We do not comment on speculation concerning confidential contracts or player-related matters.”
The same publication has already claimed the Blues are in danger of having a transfer ban imposed because of the signing of Bertrand Traore as a teenager from Auxerre.
