Oleksandr Zinchenko is enjoying his time with Arsenal after joining them in the summer transfer window. Zinchenko was named the Gunners's January Player of the Month.
Since his move the defender has become a key player for Mikel Arteta's side.
Speaking exclusively with VBET News, the 26-yaer-old said when asked who impressed him the most during training sessions at Arsenal: “To be honest before I arrived I knew the level of everyone and I wasn’t surprised much. But still I have seen a lot of qualities in this team and I can’t choose one of them, it’s not fair”.
Zinchenko signed for the Gunners from Manchester City after having played for them from 2016 to 2022. The defender worked with Mikel Arteta during his time at City as Arteta was Guardiola's assistant.
Now, Zinchenko works under Arteta at Arsenal and says that there are several similarities between him and Pep Guardiola.
"I have known Mikel since City, and I always knew that he is an amazing manager. There are a lot of similarities between Arteta and Guardiola, but obviously, everyone is a bit different, and still, there is some difference between them as well. But the similarity is that both of them want to win every single game, and that’s the most important thing," the Gunners defender told VBET News.

Manchester City beat Arsenal 1-0 in the fourth round of the FA Cup on January 28 and some City players were in relaxed mood after their victory. After the final whistle, Zinchenko was visibly unhappy but managed to calm down. He ended up exchanging jerseys with Kyle Walker before leaving the field.

"I still keep in touch with most of them; we are friends and always will be. Yeah, they won that match, and they were joking with me. But I hope we will get revenge next Wednesday," said Zinchenko.
The league is underway and there have been a lot of surprises during this season. The Gunners lead the league table with five points ahead of City.
Zinchenko says that Newcastle and Brighton have impressed him the most. The Magpies are currently 4th in the league table with just one defeat, meanwhile, Brighton are 6th.
“Newcastle are doing so good this season. Brighton as well. I think these two teams," the defender added.
January transfer window is already history as the clubs tried their best to strengthen their teams. Arsenal welcomed Leandro Trossard and Jorginho during the transfer window.
Speaking on Jorginho, Zinchenko said: “He is an amazing player, big personality. Huge experience as well. He is a winner, he knows how to win. And for sure he’s going to help us a lot.”

The defender has not only become a key player in the field, but he has been giving motivational speeches to keep the team spirit alive. However, Zinchenko says that the club has many leaders in the dressing who keep the fighting spirit alive.
“It’s not just me to be honest. We have a lot of leaders in our team in the dressing room. The staff and the players, everyone is pushing each other to achieve big things," he said.
The Gunners are leading the league table with five points ahead of City, however, they suffered a defeat to Everton during the weekend. City were given a chance to cut the gap between them, but they also suffered a defeat.
“Honestly I’m not going to give any promises because there is still a long way to go. There is a lot of talk about our title race but the Premier League is the toughest league in the World and you saw, Everton is in the relegation zone but they beat us. Anything can happen in the league and we just need to go step by step," Zinchenko said, when asked what he will do if they win the Premier League?
