Kai Havertz formed hat-trick, while Chelsea star suffered an injury in behind closed doors friendly against Brentford

Chelsea faced Brentford in a behind-closed-doors friendly game and celebrated a 5-1 victory on Tuesday as Kai Havertz formed a hat-trick.

The Blues are preparing for the Premier League return following the World Cup break.

Graham Potter's side will face Bournemouth on Tuesday, December 27 at Stamford Bridge.

During the friendly game, Wesley Fofana suffered an injury. The centre-back has made an overall 6 appearances for Chelsea as he had been dealing with a knee injury.

Fofana came off with a knee injury and the severity is not determined yet, as per Adam Newson and Felix Johnston.
