Anthony Martial is set to miss Manchester United's match against Southampton, Erik ten Hag has now confirmed.
The Red Devils will be hoping to have a successful match versus the Saints following their latest 2 - 1 win over Liverpool on Monday.
The upcoming Premier League meeting will take place on August 27, 2022. Ahead of the clash, Ten Hag has met the media.
During the pre-match press conference, United boss confirmed Martial will not be available on Saturday. Meanwhile, the club's new signing, Casemiro, has completed the training sessions.
"Anthony Martial is not fit. He came out with a problem with his achillies. I cannot tell a prognosis, how long it takes. I hope he will be available for the next game," he said, via Manchester Evening News.
"Casemiro is fit, he did all the training sessions," the manager added.
