Pep Guardiola's first Premier League game in charge of Manchester City was against Sunderland and the game ended with a 2-1 score as Sergio Aguero opened the score from a penalty spot in the 4th minute and Paddy McNair scored an own goal in the 87th minute. Jermain Defoe scored for Sunderland in the 71st minute.
