Top 10 NBA Players of 2023/24 season

 

NBA 2022/23 season came to an end as Denver Nuggets were crowned NBA Playoffs Champions. This was their first NBA championship since joining the league in 1976.

Nuggets star Nikola Jokic was named NBA Finals MVP.

As the season is over let's take a look at Top 10 players of the campaign.

 

Top 10 NBA Players of 2022/2023 season

 

10. LeBron James

Lebron James is considered one of the bests however during the last season and this season as well, he has not been his best due to injuries. He averaged 28.8 PPG during the regular season. Lakers beat Warriors in the Conference Semifinals and reached the Conference Final. Lakers suffered a defeat to Nuggets in the Conference Finals and were out of the NBA Finals.

9. Ja Morant

Ja Morant had an impressive season as he averaged 26.2 points. Memphis Grizzlies season came to an end following defeat against Lakers in NBA Playoffs Round 1.

8. Jayson Tatum

Jayson Tatum kicked-off the new season on a high note as well having finished last season on a positive note as Boston Celtics reached the finals. Boston once again reached the Conference Finals, however, suffered a defeat to Miami Heat.

7. Devin Booker

Devin Booker averaged 27.8 PPG during the regular season. Phoenix Suns suffered a 4-2 defeat in the series against Denver Nuggets in the conference semifinals.

 

6. Kevin Durant

The 34-year-old missed only Game 1 in the Round 1. Durant had an impressive run in the playoffs round 1 with recording 20+ points in each of the games in the series. However, Suns' season comes to an end in the NBA Playoffs.

5. Luka Doncic

The 23-year-old averaged 32.4 PPG. The 2022/23 campaign comes to an end for Mavericks and Doncic as they finish 11th in Western Conference.

 

4. Giannis Antetokounmpo

Bucks finished the regular season 1st in Eastern Conference with 58-24 run and Giannis averaged 31.1 PPG. Giannis suffered a wrist injury during Bucks' win over Bulls and missed the NBA All-Star 2023 game, however, Team Giannis won. 

Although Bucks had an impressive run in the regular season, their NBA Playoffs campaign didn't turn out the way they wanted as they exit following a 4-1 defeat to Miami Heat in the series.

 

3. Joel Embiid

Embiid averaged 33.1 PPG during the regular season. Joel Embiid was named MVP in 2022/23 season for the first time in his career. 76ers suffered a 4-3 defeat in the series against Celtics in the Conference semi-finals and were out of the NBA Playoffs.

2. Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry and Golden State Warriors were waiting for the 2021/2022 season for a long time as they became NBA champions. Curry broke several records during the season. The Warriors star was named NBA Finals MVP for the first time last season.

The title-defending season is underway and Curry averaged 29.4 PPG during the regular season. The NBA Playoffs comes to an end for Warriors as they suffer defeat to Lakers in the Conference Semifinals.

 

1. Nikola Jokic

Jokic averaged 24.5 PPG during the regular season. Although Jokic didn't take the MVP title during the 2022/23 season, however, he was named the NBA Finals MVP after Nuggets were crowned champions.
