Germany has been selected to host the upcoming 17th UEFA EURO in 2024. The recent European competition were hosted in various venues in Europe, and it was also delayed for a year due to a COVID-19 pandemic, as it took place in the summer of 2021. As mentioned, Germany will automatically qualify, leaving a total of 23 teams to play the Qualifiers. The European Qualifiers will run from March to November 2023, and via play-offs scheduled for March 2024.

The EURO 2024 format is set to be the same as for EURO 2020. The top two in each of the six final groups will progress into the round of 16 along with the four best third-placed finishers.
