Wolves reporter drops massive transfer updates ahead of January window deadline

Wolverhampton reporter Alex Dicken has dropped the latest updates on club transfer plans.

Julen Lopetegui's side have been sure busy in this transfer window welcoming five players and the sixth, Joao Gomes, is reported to be announced before the deadline day.

The Molineux outfit recently completed the signing of the Flamengo midfielder for €18m plus add-ons, who chose the relegation survivors over Olympique Lyon.

However, Dicken has admitted that Wolves could also get West Ham's Michail Antonio's services following thie long-standing interest.

“I have seen Antonio has said that he could leave West Ham this month. That’s been on the cards for some time because he has fallen down the pecking order there and Wolves do have a long-standing interest.

“However, West Ham have signed Danny Ings and he suffered an injury on his debut and will be out for a number of weeks. They spent big on Gianluca Scamacca in the summer and he is out injured. I don’t think it makes sense for West Ham to loan or sell Antonio before the end of this window - especially to a relegation rival with Wolves and Everton the two teams linked with him."
