FC Luzern young star Ardon Jashari has now admitted he would like to follow the footspets of Grani Xhaka in his career.
The 20-year-old has been reportedly linked with the move to Arsenal. Other European sides like Ajax, Napoli, Nice and Real Sociedad are also among the clubs interested in the player's services.
Jasjari has been likened to his fellow countryman Xhaka, who currently plays for the Gunners and is one of the key footballers at the Etihad Stadium.
“(Comparisons with Xhaka) make me incredibly proud,” Jashari explains. “But I have to keep my feet on the ground and continue to perform. Following a career path like Xhaka’s would be a dream," the youngster told SRF, via HITC.
“When I sit at a table with (older) players, they quickly realize that I’m a mature person. That’s how the players know me.”
