Niko Kovac press-conference ahead of Liverpool match

Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac has given a press-conference ahead of Champions League Round of 16 match against Liverpool. UCL 2013 winners play against Merseyside club at Anfield, as clubs will meet in European competitions for the first time since UEFA Super Cup in 2001. On Liverpool "If you look at what Liverpool did in the Champions League last season and what Liverpool are doing in the league, you would have to say Liverpool is the most difficult draw." On Kingsley Coman "He's improving by the hour. Kingsley needs to be completely pain-free. We're optimistic that the medical team will have him in shape by tomorrow night." On Franck Ribery  "Franck Ribery will join up with us today. We'll have to wait and see with Jerome Boateng- if the doctors say he's not an infection risk, then he could yet be an option." On atmosphere "The atmosphere will no doubt play a role. However, my players are no strangers to big games like this. We need to be focused from the off." On whether there will be goals "I don't think we'll see 0-0 tomorrow. I can't see that." On Liverpool again "Liverpool are a top side, but so are we. They will also have respect for us. The aim is of course to progress. If Liverpool give 140%, then we need 150%. It will be a real battle." Source  - LiverpoolECHO
