Niko Kovac refuses to play Coutinho alongside one of their key men

Since making his loan move from Barcelona to Bayern Munich, Philippe Coutinho has made 4 appearances for the German side. Ahead of their Bundesliga game against FC Koln, Niko Kovac has revealed that he won't play Coutinho at the same time as Thomas Muller. “Muller and Coutinho together in the 10 role would be too attacking. We need a good balance,” Kovac said. “Never say never, but right now I’d lower the probability.” Currently Bayern Munich are 5th in the league with having collected 8 points so far this season.
