NOT April 30: Premier League set to announce NEW date for the RESTART of the season
Premier League clubs will have an emergency meeting in order to discuss new dates for the restart of the season. As reported by the Daily Mail, resuming the season on April 30 is already impossible, as the UK is in lockdown after the decision from Prime Minister Boris Johnson. April 3 was the initial date decided by authorities for the possible restart of the season, and it was moved to April 30 last week. However, it seems resuming the season in May will also be almost impossible as clubs will have a meeting to announce the new date next week. As reported earlier, The Football Association has officially confirmed declaring the 2019/20 season null and void for the levels three to seven of the National League System (NSL). No team will be relegated from levels 3,4,5,6 and there will be no promotion either for those leagues + level 7. FA has not yet decided the future of level 1 and 2. Level one gives promotion to the EFL.
