Novak Djokovic insists he doesn't want to discuss the differences between him and Nick Kyrgios with the tennis player. The two tennis star never faced each other, but the war of words escalated in recent weeks. During a press conference ahead of his first-round match at the Australian Open, Djokovic was asked about the Australian’s comments and replied: “Off the court I don’t have much respect for him, to be honest. I won’t say more.” Kyrgios called the 17-time Grand Slam winner “a very strange cat” on Monday. The Serb was then asked to respond after his first-round win at Melbourne Park on Monday and initially said: “No.” “I really don’t want to comment on that too much because that is what he is looking for: some kind of debate, attention, who knows, but I am not going to give it to him because he does not deserve it. That is it,” Djokovic said. “I do not feel the need nor do I feel we should sit and talk, I have absolutely no interest in the guy.”
