Chris Smalling has joined Roma from Manchester United on a permanent deal.

The centre-back has been heavily linked with the move to the Serie A side, with the club trying to land the Red Devils man several times during the summer transfer window.

And now, United have finally reached a<span class="sdc-article-header__long-title"> £18m deal for </span>Smalling's transfer. The defender officially joins Roma after his 10-year spell at Old Trafford.
