Wolves have officially completed the signing of a talented young winger Enso Gonzalez.
The 18-year-old skillful attacker has joined Molineux from Libertad, his home club. This move marks a significant development as the transfer window nears its end, and the Wanderers are anticipated to be active in further signings.
The Paraguayan has committed to a five-year contract with the club and the transfer fee is believed to be around £5 million, pending approval from international authorities.
Gary O'Neil is likely to swiftly integrate Gonzalez into the first-team lineup. Despite his age, the starlet has already amassed 39 appearances at the senior level, with the majority (32) being in the top-tier league of Paraguay.
The Midland outfit's sporting director Matt Hobbs claimed:
“This is a transfer we’ve worked on for a while and we’re delighted to have Enso joining us.
"He’s an exciting, young player, who will fit in well with our dressing room and within the DNA we’re trying to create. We wanted a front player who could play across the line and give us something different, and Enso is the name our recruitment team pushed."
