Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits Manchester United star could depart if left out of Europa League final

Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to make a decision between David De Gea and Dean Henderson for Wednesday’s Europa League final and accepts that whoever misses out is likely to have played their last game for the club. De Gea started the season as first choice, with Henderson getting a chance to impress in the cup competitions after his return from a two-year loan spell at Sheffield United. However, Henderson has failed to convince Solskjaer that he should be the undisputed first choice, with the 24-year-old making a costly error in a 4-2 defeat to Liverpool earlier in the month and looking susceptible from set pieces. According to ESPN, the Norwegian manager is aware that whoever misses out the Europa League vs Villarreal is likely to leave the Old Trafford this summer. The game will be the biggest of Solskjaer’s two-and-a-half-year reign at United, providing him with the chance of winning silverware for the first time at the club as manager.
