Otto Wallin determined to fulfil promise to late father in Tyson Fury fight

Otto Wallin is determined to fulfil a promise he made to his late father. Wallin takes on the former World Champion Tyson Fury in Las Vegas four months after his dad Carl passed away. Wallin will walk to the ring without him for the first time as an amateur or professional. He said: “He was in New York in April and he told me that time that if something would happen to him I had to keep working hard, keep training and fighting. “He wasn’t ill. He had diabetes, problems with his feet and stuff but he died of a heart attack, it is probably related to the diabetes. Maybe he felt something or maybe not. “He said that before but that was the last time he said. That is what I’ve been trying to do. Even the day after he passed away I was in the gym working out. I was thinking about him. It was hard to keep it together, I was almost crying on and off but I got through it. I stayed in the gym and it has paid off. I’m sorry he can’t be here but I’m going to do it for him anyways.”
