Paul Ince sends message to Ed Woodward over Manchester United transfer target Mario Mandzukic

It has been reported that Manchester United are closing in on the January signing of Mario Mandzukic from Juventus. The Red Devils are confident that the Serie A side will except the fee of £9 million for the 33-year-old. Amid the links, Manchester United player Paul Ince has revealed that Mandzukic isn't the answer to the club's problems. Speaking exclusively with Mirror, Ince said: “I don’t think Mandzukic is the answer. “I feel that you never get your best players in January, clubs don’t sell their best players in January, so whoever Manchester United are going to get is going to be a stop-gap. “If they’re looking to go down the young route then the should be looking at young strikers, not Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] or Mandzukic.”
