Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming clash between Tottenham and Manchester United. The two sides are set to face each other in the Premier League on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
Spurs will be hoping to return to their winning ways after a shocking 6 - 1 defeat to Newcastle United. The Red Devils, meanwhile, will be looking to continue their successful run amid the league top-four race.
Ahead of the midweek's clash, Merson has shared his thoughts, backing the Red Devils to be the winners with a score of 2 - 0.
"Both teams play the same way - they sit back and attack on the counter, and I don't think much will happen. Manchester United can kill a game as well - they were second-best at times against Brighton but they were comfortable. Credit where credit's due - they're now in a final," the pundit said on Sportskeeda.
"I'm worried that Tottenham don't have a manager, and I don't see how they can come back from their defeat against Newcastle. Man United will have too much for them on the counter and should be able to win this game,' he added.
