Paul Pogba reportedly issued an apology to team-mates in the Manchester United dressing room after his penalty miss.
United were held 1-1 at Wolves on Monday, after thumping Chelsea 4-0. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side might have won at Wanderers had Paul Pogba not had a second-half penalty saved.
Pogba looked hugely frustrated both after the save and at the final whistle and, according to The Sun, he said sorry to his team-mates once they returned to the Molineux dressing room.
There was confusion amongst some regarding Pogba taking the penalty rather than Marcus Rashford. The pair was publicly backed by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who revealed it was up to the players to decide who takes the spot-kick with no designated taker.
