Scans showed Sane damaged his anterior cruciate ligament.
According to
The Mirror, Guardiola wanted Sane to undergo surgery with trusted doctor Ramon Cugat – the man who has operated on fellow Etihad stars Benjamin Mendy and Kevin De Bruyne in recent years.
However, the Spanish coach is unhappy after the former Schalke attacker chooses Austrian specialist Professor Christian Fink to operate on his injury instead.
