Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on Erik Ten Hag ahead of the FA Cup final on June 3, 2023.
The Spaniard will lead his Manchester City to London to face city rival United in a historic FA Cup final, marking the first time both Manchester clubs face off for this prestigious title.
Premier League champions aim to maintain their hopes of securing a treble at Wembley while also battling for their second domestic trophy of the season.
On the other hand, the Red Devils, who finished third in the domestic competition and have already won the Carabao Cup, are determined to achieve a domestic double and prevent the Cityzens from attaining the treble.
Ahead of the match, Guardiola held a press conference where the Catalan manager hailed Ten Hag's work with United and predicted he will stay at the club for more years.
"I identify a really good manager, a part of that is a guy who represents our profession in the best way possible on the pitch and off the pitch. I cannot say we are friends, we are not in touch much.
"We had a short experience in Munich [when Ten Hag was a coach] but I think honestly United has an exceptional manager for many years."
