Pep Guardiola has admitted it was right to redo the Champions League last 16 draw in order to avoid any "suspicions".
UEFA were forced to redo the initial draw after Manchester United were initially drawn out against Spanish outfit Villarreal.
City were instead drawn as Villarreal's opponents, but United were then excluded from Atletico Madrid's possible opponents for the next stage of the tournament to compound the mistake.
Then European football's governing body decided to redo the draw later in the afternoon - and Guardiola thinks that was the correct decision.
"It’s going to happen again, I think that’s fair." said Guardiola before the redraw. "It was a mistake.
"These kinds of things sometimes happen, especially the players and managers, so sometimes UEFA too. We are going to wait.
"Like I always said I am more than satisfied to be a part of that. I think it makes sense [re-draw]. So there are no suspicions.
"All the opponents are tough. Some say one is better than the other but all are difficult."
