Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has revealed that his assistant coach Mikel Arteta would succeed him and become the Citizen's coach after he leaves.
Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016 after having spent three years with Bayern Munich.
Since taking over the Citizens, Guardiola has won numerous titles with the club including winning the Premier League two times in a row.
“I’m pretty sure, yes. He will have success, yes. He had offers to leave but he decided to stay – thanks," said Guardiola.
“Sooner or later he’s going to be a manager. He’s a young, young coach.
“He’s only 37 but he has experience already of handling big players and teams.”
