Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has provided an injury update on Kevin De Bruyne as the midfielder is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury. De Bruyne has been out since City's 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
De Bruyne has overall made 23 appearances this season in which he has scored 3 goals and provided 15 assists.
City are preparing to face Swansea City in the FA Cup 5th round on Wednesday, February 10. Speaking ahead of the game, Guardiola was asked about De Bruyne’s rehabilitation and progress at his pre-match press conference.
The City boss said: "He is getting well he is already training, not with the team but alone and he is feeling well.
“It’s good, really good.”
“I cannot say. What’s important is day by day he is feeling very good,” Guardiola added when asked whether De Bruyne could be in contention to be available for Champions League last 16 first leg tie against Borussia Monchengladbach.
