Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has said he is not concerned by Kyle Walker’s use of social media after the Manchester City full-back deleted a tweet mocking title rivals Liverpool.
Walker posted a photograph of Maguire talking to his partner Fern Hawkins with the caption: “So basically they thought they were gonna go 7 points ahead...”
Guardiola claimed on Friday that he is not worried about his players using social media.
“I’m not concerned about social media, the players tweeting, Instagram. I cannot control it,” he insisted.
Guardiola also dismissed the suggestion that Walker’s tweet may have motivated Liverpool.
