Raheem Sterling was verbally abused by Chelsea fans during Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola talked about the incident saying that criticizing someone for the skin color is ridiculous.
"If Raheem is going to get criticism it should be if he played s**t. That would be perfect. Just for the colour of his skin is ridiculous," said Guardiola
"There was concern about what happened but he has been quite good. He made a statement, he was quite clear about his thoughts.
"Raheem said it perfectly. He is an incredible person, an incredible human being."
Manchester City will host Hoffenheim in Champions League on December 12th. Citizens are leading the Group F with 10 points.
