Pep Guardiola’s special request to Jurgen Klopp as Premier league title race hots up

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has joked that he and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp should swap trophies. The two managers attended the Football Writers’ Association northern branch managers’ award dinner on Sunday night in Manchester. Last season, Liverpool won the Champions League trophy, while Manchester City won the Premier League title. According to The Athletic Guardiola said it was obvious to all that he was desperate to win the Champions League. Klopp, meanwhile, wants to win the Premier League title.
