Peter Crouch claims Harry Kane was ruthless in Tottenham's 5-1 victory over Mura in the Conference League group stage on Thursday evening.
Dele Alli opened the scoring already in the 4th minute with a penalty strike, and just four minutes later Giovani Lo Celso doubled Spurs lead.
In the second-half Mura pulled one back as Ziga Kous found the back of the net, however, Kane, who just got subbed on, netted perfect hat-track to hand the north London side a brilliant win.
Crouch emphasising Spurs striker's ruthless streak will be something that delights Tottenham supporters, who have been desperate to see their star striker firing on all cylinders again after a summer full of speculation over a move away from the north London club.
Speaking on BT Sport, the former Tottenham striker said:
"It was just perfect. He came on and I think that Arsenal game will play on his mind, but that's gone now.
"He's gone home with the match ball, all he can think about is scoring goals, he's back in the groove.
"And listen, it's poor opposition, let's be honest, but it doesn't matter who these goals are against because he's still there and he's still got to finish fantastically well and he did it. He was ruthless."
Spurs’ upcoming game is on Sunday, a Premier League clash with Aston Villa at home.
