Bayern Munich have expressed interest in signing Stefan Ortega from Manchester City.
According to information from German journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Bavarians search for a new goalkeeper following Yann Sommer's move to Inter Milan and Manuel Neuer's delayed recovery.
Despite having Sven Ulreich as an option, Thomas Tuchel is determined to acquire a high-quality goalkeeper for the Allianz Arena.
However, their attempts to secure a new goalkeeper have been unsuccessful, as they missed out on David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the latter recently completing a loan move from Chelsea to Real Madrid.
Ortega is now a new name on the Bundesliga giants; list of potential candidates, and talks have taken place between the club and the 30-year-old's representatives about a potential transfer.
The German goalkeeper joined the reigning Premier League champions last summer as a backup to Ederson with a contract expiring in 2025.
