Premier League: Manchester United trash 9-man Southampton with 9-0 score

Manchester United have trashed Southampton in their Premier League clash with an 8-0 score. Alexandre Jankewitz received a straight red card just 2 minutes after the referee blew the whistle. The Saints were left with 10 players, and 16 minutes later, Aaron Wan-Bissaka opened the score after an assist from Luke Shaw. It was Wan-Bissaka's second goal of the Premier League season.         Marcus Rashford scored the second goal for Man United in the 25th minute of the game. It was Rashford's eighth goal of the season and 83rd for the club. He surpassed Eric Cantona in the list of the club's top-scorers.         Southampton's Jan Bednarek netted the third goal but it was a goal for the Red Devils.         Edinson Cavani, meanwhile, scored his fifth goal of the season to make the score 4-0.         The fifth goal of the game scored Anthony Martial and the sixth one netted Scott McTominay.               The nightmare for Southampton continued, as Bednarek received a second red card of the game, left his side with 9 players and his side conceded the seventh goal of the game as Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty. Martial eighth goal for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side. Daniel James summed-up the game with the ninth goal. Manchester United are now second in the league with 44 points.
