Since the addition of VAR to the Premier League, there have been mixed thoughts on whether it helps modern football. Due to VAR there have been some controversial incidents in the English top-flight.
After the match week 10, which also saw some controversial decisions from VAR, for example during Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Brighton,

Sadio Mane and Mo Salah both saw their goals disallowed by VAR, meanwhile, it awarded a last-minute penalty to Brighton after Andy Robertson's challenge on Danny Welbeck.
