President wants to sell Arsenal target, rejects £25 loan-to-buy from Italy

Lille president Gerard Lopez wants to sell Arsenal target Boubakary Soumare before the transfer window closes, according to Calciomercato. The Gunners have identified Soumare as potential cut-price alternative to their another target Thomas Partey, suggested by FootMercato. Moreover, earlier this week Lopez spoke upon the 21-year-old's possible move away from the club, opening door for Arsenal. “He can leave in the next few days,” president told France Bleu. And now, Calciomercato claims Lille have rejected Napoli's £25 million loan-to-buy bid for the French midfielder as Lopez is willing to accept only cash offers for the player. Arsenal have a few days to make an offer for Soumare till the summer transfer window deadline of October 5.
