Press conference: Jurgen Klopp on Alisson, Fabinho, Jota and more

Liverpool are preparing to host Chelsea in the Premier League on Thursday, March 4. Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp has given a press conference where he spoke out on Alisson Becker, who missed the Reds 2-0 victory over Sheffield United following his father's death. Klopp also provided updates on Fabinho and Diogo Jota. The Reds manager said that Alisson will return against Chelsea.   On Fabinho and Jota "Fabinho has 5/6 sessions in his legs. Ready for the squad, for sure. Diogo had a stomach problem. He trained yesterday only a little bit. He feels better, so we will see what we can do." On Chelsea under Tuchel "In the game Chelsea played so far (under Tuchel) they have been successful. Different formations, he's used the time to get to know the squad. Lots of changes. All 3 left-backs have played. Only Mount, Kovacic, Jorginho are fixed. All others have changed for information. "It's difficult to get more possession than Chelsea. But the full package will be required. We have to defend, we have to work a lot, we won't face a deep block. We have to be patient in moments and lively, creative and show desire to defend. They're a top team. "They will ask a lot and we have to make sure we have the answers." On Tuchel "I think we met in the summer when I was in Mainz for a few days. Two of my former players for breakfast and I think I saw Thomas and his wife. "We played PSG, Dortmund...it's not that we meet constantly but it's nice when we do." On top-four race "A week ago we were out [the top 4 race] now we're around it again. Challenge is clear - to win games. We've known that. We cannot make a difference who we face but we know Chelsea's quality. Other teams, our neighbours, Spurs, West Ham, Leicester...[want top 4]." "This is exciting for our fans but maybe not how they would like it. We will fight for it." Source - LiverpoolECHO / Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
