Liverpool will host Manchester City at Anfield this weekend. Ahead of the game, the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has faced the press.
Klopp has had his say about Manchester City star Raheem Sterling:
"He's always been a big threat. He's improving and improving - good for City and England. This morning I saw a goal he scored here against City - a nice one as well! I can't think anything bad about him - outstanding!"
The Red’s boss has also opened up his relationship with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
"It doesn't change during games from my side. It's about who we support and all we can do with our team. I couldn't respect him more. The best manager in the world - he's made a proper impact on this team,” said Klopp.
"He is now at Man City and the football is not too bad. I don't have a negative relationship with anyone on the sidelines. It might look like that but it is respectful. Very respectful."
The German boss added on City: "I
don't admire other teams. I respect them. They have a character of course. Combination of speed and technique. Plenty of players like that, an organisation is good. It's a really good team. Both our ways can lead to success. We will see who it will be."
"If you are not brave against Man City you have no chance, not even a point. Your positioning must be perfect, your protecting must be perfect.
"There is a lot of games like this. You cannot be as creative, offensive, you need a different formation. If you have this formation and you lose the ball then the other team can lose that. It's an interesting football game."
On City’s squad, he said: “De Bruyne one of the best players in the world and still getting results (last season), that shows their quality. They are still really strong.”
The Game will take place on Sunday, November 10 at Anfield.
