Rafa Benitez has been unveiled as the new manager of Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang, following his recent departure from Newcastle United.
The Champions League winning boss has penned a huge £12million-a-year deal with the club.
Benitez walked away from a £6million a year contract offer after he completely lost patience with Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley.
“I wanted to stay, but I didn’t just want to sign an extended contract, I wanted to be part of a project,” he said. “Unfortunately, it became increasingly clear to me that those at the top of the club did not share the same vision.”
