Raheem Sterling reveals role Liverpool fans played in 2014 title collapse

Manchester City and Liverpool are in a tough title race as the Reds are currently leading the league by a one point difference from 2nd placed Citizens. City forward Raheem Sterling, who was part of the Liverpool side that came close to winning the title in 2014, has suggested the pressure on Reds' players could prove pivotal in the title race. (via Mirror) "When I was there, I felt a lot more pressure than I do here. On match days, the fans, and I think that did get to us a little bit," he told Sky Sports. "We were in control. We had the opportunity to see it through and we didn't do that. Here, we are completely focused on each game and winning each game. "We are confident in ourselves. We have got the belief, the attitude and the work rate and we are focused on what we need to do. "It is a completely different scenario to last year. We were a lot more comfortable at this point in the season. This year, we are chasing and it is really close. I have full belief in the squad."
