Real Madrid are reportedly quite delighted that Gareth Bale is showing some form for Tottenham after the Welshman’s brace against Burnley on Sunday.
The 31-year-old has been on the fringes of the Spurs squad since arriving on-loan from the Spanish capital last summer but the winger has shown signs of getting back to his best over the last few weeks.
Bale was handed just his third Premier League start of the season by Jose Mourinho against Burnley and he was arguably Tottenham’s best player in the game, scoring twice and providing an assist for Harry Kane.
And according to Spanish news outlet
AS, every good performance Bale puts in for Spurs is being cheered by the Real Madrid hierarchy, with the club desperate to get rid of the winger.
Los Blancos do not want to pay the entirety of Bale’s wages next season since it could risk their transfer plans in the next window.
