Real Madrid are prepared to cash in on Gareth Bale as soon as the summer window opens, according to Marca.
Much to his frustration, he’s started recent matches on the bench and manager Zinedine Zidane seems to reluctant to trust the Welshman while his job at the Santiago Bernabeu is still in the balance.
Bale, a Manchester United transfer target, is competing with Marco Asensio for a place in the starting XI and Florentino Perez, the club’s president, believes the 22-year-old is a future Ballon d’Or winner, which gives Zidane the leeway to bench Bale.
