Chelsea star Tammy Abraham is monitoring Chelsea’s current transfer situation with Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner before signing a new contract with the club, according to
The Athletic.
The Blues are eager to tie down their star striker to a new long-term deal and have been locked in talks with the Englishman for several months.
Abraham is the club’s top scorer this season with 14 goals, as the 22-year-old has emerged as Chelsea’s first-choice striker.
The 22-year-old is aware that Werner's arrival would threaten his own place in the team, with the RB Leipzig man likely to lead the line in west London.
Meanwhile, Dembele is considered to more of a deputy to Abraham and would be less of a hostile signing for the former Aston Villa loanee.
