Red Bull chief Helmut Marko has confirmed Ferrari have made an approach for their technical staff.
Ferrari desperate to close the gap between them and Mercedes and have decided the best way to do so is by cherry-picking Red Bull’s strongest staff.
"
That's right, but that is quite normal,” he told Auto Bild. "There is a constant rotation on a technical level between us, Ferrari and the other teams. That is not news for me."
Red Bull have a strong chance of beating Ferrari to second place this year.
Marko reckons Ferrari may be able to up their game at the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend and start to claw back some of the deficit to the Silver Arrows.
"In Montreal at the weekend Ferrari would have to stand a chance because of their strong engine,” he said. “And of course we will try everything, but our time will come at the latest from the race in Singapore. When Honda has ignited the new engine stage and we with our chassis so far are to form a unit with the Honda engine."
