Reiss Nelson has responded to the possibility of returning to Feyenoord if Arne Slot pursued the Arsenal winger.
Nelson played a key role in Arsenal's latest Champions League performance against PSV, providing an assist for Eddie Nketiah's goal. Despite a quiet campaign, the player's Tuesday display earned positive remarks, with Martin Keown highlighting him as one of the main positives.
With all six of his Premier League appearances coming off the bench, questions about Nelson's future at Arsenal arise as the January transfer window approaches. Having spent the previous season on loan at Feyenoord under Arne Slot, Nelson was asked about the potential for a return to Rotterdam if Slot expressed interest.
In an interview with RTL after Arsenal's Champions League match, Nelson said, via TBR Football:
“Me and the coach have got a good relationship. I helped them a few years ago and it was a great time, then. It helped me develop really well. But like I said, I signed a new contract with Arsenal and all my heart is with Arsenal right now.”
