Football Insider reported on Tuesday, that Rangers had made a “significant offer” to Preston defender Ben Davies. Davies has made overall 16 appearances during this season and made one assist for the Championship side. According to the report, the Gers made a move with a “lucrative” pre-contract offer that would see the defender join on a free transfer in the summer. The 25-year-old's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2021. However, according to the Sun’s transfer guru Alan Nixon, “There’s no pre-contract offer for Davies”.
