Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Arsenal have started negotiations with Reiss Nelson over a new contract.
According to the transfer expert, the opening talks have already taken place last week, as the player's father, who is his current representative, had a needing with club's technical director Edu.
The 23-year-old has a deal at the Emirates valid until the upcoming summer, however, Mikel Arteta admires the winger and is keen to keep him longer at the club.
Several European teams are monitoring Nelson for a potential free move in June, but the player has recently confessed that he would love to play 'many more years at the club'.
