Tottenham Hotspur's recently appointed manager, Ange Postecoglou, has reportedly shown great admiration for Brighton's talented winger Kaoru Mitoma.
The Japan international had a sensational campaign, making a significant impact for the Seagulls as they secured European qualification and reached the FA Cup semi-finals, where they narrowly lost to Manchester United in a penalty shootout.
The attacker displayed his skills by contributing 10 goals and 8 assists, resulting in a total of 18 goal involvements in 41 appearances across all competitions.
Mitoma's performances have garnered attention from multiple clubs, including Spurs, according to the Daily Mail.
However, it's important to note that at this stage, the report only suggests Postecoglou's admiration for the 26-year-old, and there haven't been any indications of an imminent transfer for the player.
Furthermore, journalist Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that the London outfit have reached a verbal agreement with Shakhtar winger Manor Solomon, who is expected to join the club on a free transfer.
As Solomon occupies a similar position to Mitoma, the signing of the former could potentially decrease the likelihood of Tottenham pursuing a move for the Japanese winger this summer.
