Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus for three main reasons.
According to El Mundo, the Portugal star decided he had had enough of life at Los Blancos and needed to make the move. The three reasons revolved around financial matters, salary and status.
Firstly, the star reportedly swapped Spain for Italy due to financial trouble after being charged with tax evasion in 2017.
Ronaldo was also left fuming after being refused a new bumper contract which would have seen him earn more than Lionel Messi and Neymar.
At Juventus, the star earns an eye-watering £500,000 a week following his £99m move from the Bernabeu this summer.
And the final reason behind Ronaldo's decision to leave Los Blancos was due to the club's refusal to acknowledge him as their greatest ever player.
Real Madrid were unwilling to place him above Alfredo Di Stefano despite his phenomenal 450 goals in 438 matches across his nine seasons.
