REVEALED: Referee for upcoming match between Arsenal vs Burnley

The referee for Arsenal’s first home game of the 2019/20 Premier League season against Burnley has been announced and it’s a good news the Gunners’ fans. It has been revealed that Mike Dean will take charge of the clash at the Emirates Stadium and the Gunners do have a good record when he has been the man in the middle since September 2015. Overall, the official from Heswall has refereed 69 games across all competitions involving the Gunners ever since his first in 2000 and that's yielded 32 victories and 16 losses. Darren Cann and Dan Robathan are the assistant referees, with Peter Bankes on fourth official duty at the Emirates Stadium. VAR will also be in use with Chris Kavanagh and Andy Halliday undertaking those duties.
